Eye of a Needle Dear Brother Ron What is your understanding of the Eye of a Needle parable? (Matthew 19:24) And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Mo Dear Mo This was a proverb in common use among the Jews, and is still common among the Arabs. To denote that a thing was impossible or exceedingly difficult, they said that a camel or an elephant might as soon walk through a needle’s eye. Your heart will go where your thoughts lead it. In order to achieve material wealth, you must focus all your attention on your business. What Jesus is telling us is a person can not be truly devoted to following God if he spends all of his time and energy pursuing worldly success. Best always Brother Ron
