So the Lord can dwell with me my whole life long. Beautiful paintings gonna fill the walls. Gonna keep it sturdy so it never falls. Gonna keep it clean so my saviour and me Will have a home for all eternity. A beautiful mansion that will be a sign That the Lord is living in this body of mine. Gonna build a government inside of my mind. It's a seat of power where you never will find Hatred or corruption or maneuvers or schemes. And a code of laws that don't convict but redeem. And the law will be the law of God's holy Will. Don't need no senators to write up the bills. It will be the same until the end of time. Equal justice for all mankind. No retribution, just eternal love. Living by the laws of my Father above. INSTRUMENTAL Gonna build a temple here inside of my heart. With the Holy Spirit filling every part. And He will be the only God that I know. He will be with me everywhere that I go. And the Lord will walk with me through every day. Showing me just what to do and what I should say. And the Spirit will fill me with His Holy Light. To light the way through the darkest night. No man could build a finer temple for Him. Deep in my heart, the Lord is living within.
