Hell on Earth Dear Brother Ron Is it true that humans can only experience hell on earth. Depression, sadness and dysfunction on earth is what is meant by "hell". You create your own hell here while on earth. It's not part of the afterlife. Anna Dear Anna Humans are indeed capable of creating their own personal hell on earth. This can, however, carry over to the afterlife. I can easily imagine God telling a soul who made mistakes in this life to go back and run that play until they get it right. Take, for example, those who are convinced by their religious leaders that the greatest service they could offer to God would be to walk into a crowd in Israel and blow themselves up, killing dozens of innocent people in the process. God might tell them to go spend the next seven lifetimes as a male black widow spider. After being killed and eaten by the female a few times, they might learn something about the value of life. They might also learn to have a new appreciation for women. Best always Brother Ron |
