Prayer and the Kennedy Assassination

Dear Brother Ron

Would Oswald have shot Kennedy if there had still been prayer in schools? All those little kids in Texas would have been forced to pray for our President. God would've heard their prayers and saved Kennedy.

Vishal

Dear Vishal

First of all, there has always been prayer in schools. Anybody can pray any time, anywhere, including schools. They just can not be forced to pray and they can not be forced to pray a certain way.

I have offered a solution for those who want mandated prayer in schools. On Monday, the prayer would be led by a Christian minister. On Tuesday, the prayer would be led by a Jewish Rabbi. On Wednesday, prayer would be led by a Muslim mullah. On Thursday, prayer would be led by a Wiccan high priestess. And Friday's prayer would be led by a Native American shaman. So far, nobody seems to be interested.

The Kennedy assassination had nothing to do with religion. I was 18 at the time and followed the investigation closely. Besides, since God has already seen the future, He already knew it was going to happen. He would not have needed us to alert Him.

Best always
Brother Ron
