When Life is Discovered

Dear Brother Ron

When intelligent human life is discovered on many other planets, will that change your Theological views ? Please explain what you will or will not change and why.

Dave-O

Dear Dave-O

Given what we now know about the number of stars and the likely number of planets revolving around those stars, the likelihood of finding life on at least one of them seems almost inevitable (assuming we don't blow each other to kingdom come first). How will that change my theological views? Not one bit.

God is Lord of the universe, not just this tiny corner of it. Since He is the source of all life, it is logical to assume He is the source of whatever life we find elsewhere. Whether the life forms on those planets recognize or acknowledge it is entirely irrelevant.

Best always
Brother Ron
